HGF Management Company (HGF) manages loans from acquisition to disposition with an emphasis on the recovery of non-performing loans. In 2019 the HGF team began managing loan portfolios for outside investors and currently manages $35 million of loans with a concentration in California and Florida.​


Dennis Lanni
Managing Principle
Dennis began his career in 1998 as a Stock Options Market Maker on the Pacific Stock Exchange
for TD Bank. In 2002, Mr. Lanni co-founded a real estate investment company focusing on distressed property and loans, which has grown into HGF Management Company. Dennis leads operations and runs the recovery team which specializes in loan workouts. Dennis is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and lives with his family in Folsom, California.


Shannon Winford
Chief Operating Officer
Shannon Winford manages loan servicing and foreclosures. Shannon has over 15 years of experience in loan servicing, bankruptcy, foreclosure law, and forensic loan underwriting. She has a proven track record understanding and interpreting foreclosure law in judicial and non-judicial states. Shannon is a graduate of the University of California at Davis and lives with her family in Auburn, California.


Holly Overby
Mortgage Operations Manager
With five years of experience in the mortgage industry, Holly is well-versed in the intricacies of the mortgage process and is committed to guiding clients with clarity and confidence. Known for her attention to detail and client-first approach, she works closely with borrowers to develop financing solutions that support their overall financial goals. Holly strives to make each interaction seamless and stress-free, offering thoughtful guidance every step of the way.


Kim Seymore
Recovery Asset Manager
With extensive experience in real estate and mortgage finance, I specialize in optimizing property investment portfolios. I take a hands-on approach to loan modification, debt collection, and complex restructurings, balancing borrower flexibility with investor objectives. By collaborating with property owners, lenders, and legal professionals, I am dedicated to fair dispute resolution while protecting my clients’ interests and maximizing recoveries.


Clark Whitten
REO Asset Manager
Mr. Whitten has over 30 years of real estate experience in acquisition, asset management, and redevelopment. As REO Assistant Manager, he oversees residential assets with a focus on compliance and strategic disposition. His past roles include managing large-scale housing projects for Sacramento County and working with firms like Bechtel and Kosmont on acquisitions, permitting, and construction. His broad expertise enables him to maximize value and minimize risk across the full property lifecycle.

Arturo Ochoa

Arturo has been in the real estate asset management field for 15 years and is an expert at finding common sense solutions to complex problems that allow homeowners to keep their homes. Arturo has worked in loan originations, real estate owned, real estate sales, loan servicing and asset management at some of the largest financial institutions in the country. With his well rounded experience he is able to deliver extraordinary customer service that always keeps the homeowners best interest and preservation of home ownership foremost in mind.
